Pustak Mitra Library, established in 1984-85, is a rich and resourceful central library catering to undergraduate and postgraduate students. It houses over 36,000 books, along with access to printed and digital journals.
The library offers a well-equipped reading hall, with separate seating for 30 students and 15 faculty/research scholars. Postgraduate departments are supported by dedicated departmental libraries.
We provide access to online academic resources through INFLIBNET's N-LIST database, and have fully automated our services using Koha Software. In today’s digital age, the library also promotes free and open-access resources.
Pustak Mitra Library is committed to quality content, modern technology, and above all, user satisfaction — because,
"A library is incomplete without th e reader’s touch."
